New and old

This Thursdays video is going to be (drum roll) a music video! Now it's hard to narrow it down to just one, cause there are so many good ones to chose from. So this Thursday it's SUPER DOUBLE WHAMY THURSDAY! That's right, today you get 2 (two) videos for the price of one. Something new and something old, something blue...something borrowed, actually just old and new.

The first one is from Asobi Seksu, one of my favorite pop bands. They use the well tested setup of a gorgeous Japanese singer, flanked by some anonymous men..playing instruments. They've recently released a video for their second single "Goodbye", but I'm not gonna show you that. Instead I'll show you the video for their first single "Thursday", since it's a better song, and, let's face it, today is Thursday. Enjoy this little gem.



The next one is a real oldie. Soundgardens old rock classic "Black Hole Sun", from the album Superunknown (the first CD I ever bought incidentally). I taped it on VHS when MTV aired it around 1994-95 on Headbangers Ball (with the pink-haired hostess remember?), and watched it over and over again. I still think it's a wicked song. The album was stolen from me at a party by a couple of wankers, but the dear Parkov has since donated his copy to me. Anyways here it is. Don't do drugs.
