Literary theory and computer games?

The site Gamasutra and its sister site gamecareerguide features a lot of news and articles from the game world. Recently a guy called Ryan Stancl tried to apply literary schools of theory to a japanese game called Katamari Damacy. The results are quite funny and interesting. He covers biographical and new criticism approaches in part one, and marxist, freudian and jungian approaches in part two. Check it out.
