Two movies to look for in '07

Two movies I can't wait too see:

I'm a Lynch devotee, ever since watching Twin Peaks with my father I've been hooked on him. I pretty much love everything he's touched, especially Lost Highway and Mulholland Dr.. I have purposely avoided all descriptions of Inland Empire's plot (probably wouldn't make much sense anyway), but I know it stars Laura Dern and Justine Theroux, two Lynch regulars. It has already premiered at some film festivals, and in some parts of the states. There doesn't seem to be a Danish date just yet, but it opens in European countries from February through April, let's hope a Danish distributor with taste and balls gets his hands on it too.

David Fincher's movie Zodiac is due to open in the states in march. Fincher is in my opinion also one of the best directors we have, Seven and Fight Club are two of my all-time favorites. Zodiac is about the zodiac killer in San Fransisco in the sixties and seventies and stars the excellent actors Jake Gyllenhaal and Robert Downey Jr. It's Fincher's first movie since the mediocre Panic Room from 2002, so my expectations are high. I'm glad he's gone back to serial killers, why change something that works so well?

Go Davids! Slay that Goliath that is Hollywood and commercialism.
