Video and Dourif tribute

Here is this weeks video, it's The Blood Brothers video for "Love Rhymes With Hideous Car Wreck", great track and title. I'm going to see them this sunday at Loppen, uh it will be great!

Also I would like to express my respect and admiration for the actor Brad Dourif. Who the hell is he? You may know him as Grima Wormtongue from The Lord of the Rings

But I believe his best performance was in Lynch's Dune, where he magnificently played Piter De Vries.

"It is by will alone I set my mind in motion. It is by the juice of Sapho that thoughts acquire speed, the lips acquire stains, stains become a warning. It is by will alone I set my mind in motion."

Of course he also played the mad scientist in Alien 4 Resurrection, and a hillbilly sheriff in Missisipi Burning, plus a ton of other stuff I haven't seen. He's like a second Steve Buscemi, everybody loves him (well don't you?), but nobody knows his name, now you do - Brad Dourif.

Recently I saw him in the TV-show Deadwood, playing Doc. I've become quite the tv-show-holic, and one episode of Rome and Battlestar Galactica a week is simply not enough. So now I've started seeing Deadwood, which is a pretty cool western series, with lots of profanity and violence. Great cast, acting and story. Should keep me occupied a while.

Oh, and did you know that the worst rated TV-series on IMDB is a Norwegian remake of the Danish films Olsen Banden, only this is about Olsen Banden as kids. The second worst tv-series ever is also Norwegian, hmmmm suspicious.
