Dorian Gray
Just finished my first text by Oscar Wilde. The novel (his only) The Picture of Dorian Gray from 1891, and I must say it was absolutely magnificent. Sort of mix of American Psycho, screwball comedies and Poe-horror. The dialogue especially was excellent, and the philosophy of Lord Henry very interesting (and controversial at the time), a totally hedonistic and somewhat nihilistic philosophy.
Funny, beautiful, horrible and clever, I highly recommend it.
