Vampire game, prototype 2

Ok, I'm back. Just finished a presentation on the game (Vampire Game as discussed earlier). We've been working like busy little pigies in the group to make it for today, and fortunately it went rather well.
It was exciting and nerve-wracking to show the game to people outside the design proces, since you tend to grow to attached to your own work and be blind to it's faults. But the reception was very positive, everyone were especially impressed with the AI system we've developed, and not so much with the interface (which admittedly needs a lot of polishing). It was great to get it over with, now 'only' the final exam awaits...

Parkov and me hard at work developing...

Next step is first of all final work on prototype 2, which is almost playable and then massive playtesting, as well as more level design. I'm hoping that you, dear reader, will participate in the playtesting proces, as I will publish an .exe file with the prototype as soon as it finished for your enjoyment, and hopefully in return you will leave some comments as to what you think is good and bad about the game, how does the interface feel, what could be improved and so forth. Our target group is adult (20+) players, with extensive player experience, now you know...
I'm hoping it's done by thursday and then you can have a look for yourself (I might add that this is a world premiere, exclusively on Rasmussens Blog).

Now I would put my slides up here if anyone was interested, but the mother&/€%#&%/€Q#€% filehosting site that I've used to store my files, delete files if they aren't downloaded for a 30 day period, which means all the academic texts I've uploaded have been deleted. I'm looking for an alternative. So, so far I again rely on the kindness of Næbdyrene Kollektiv and host my file on their server. See the slides here.

Check back thursday for the prototype!

Lyder fedt - Kommer spillet også i en Mac / Unix udgave? (nu da du selv er blevet mac-bruger...)

Åhhh desværre!! Jeg ved det er for dårligt, men det program vi skal bruge, virker kun i Windows. Bootcamp?
