Pétur Ben

Saw Pétur Ben at Loppen yesterday. It was nice, a little icky but nice. He has written some very good songs, and is obviously an excellent singer and musician, but like all these "singer/songwriters", it gets a bit too touchy-feely sometimes. Also, drawing down points, was the fact that he constantly tried to get the audience to sing along, NO! I don't wanna fucking sing, I sound terrible, I wanna listen to you sing, tsk tsk. Oh, and also there was these fat Icelandic people who kept talking loudly right at the stage. Guess it was more like a social Icelandic gathering than a concert for them, but it was annoying as hell.
