Results of week 17

I've submitted the first three photos for the "Class With Daves" group I talked about in this post. I'm quite happy with the results, especially the sunset, though it's such a cliché motive. Also the other people in the group have been very generous in their comments, as you will see if you watch the pictures on flickr, and two people even added my sunset as a favorite - I'm so proud, go me!
Enough self praise, a picture is worth a thousand words as the proverb go, here they are.

Assignment 1: Justice

Assignment 2: Green

Assignment 3: Light in the frame

Having finished week 17's assignments I'm ready for week 18, in which the assignments are:

cwd181: Technology - It's a huge part of our lives...it's everywhere. But can you make an interesting image based on it? Snapshots of iPods laying on the kitchen table probably don't cut it.

cwd182: Perspective - Things that are close are big. Things that are far away are little. Yes -- that's an over-simplification. But you get the idea, right?

cwd183: Magazine Ad - We're due for another design assignment, don't you think? Choose a product (real or imaginary) and create the ultimate magazine ad. You must use a photo taken this week...add text and other graphics as you see fit. Since your image (in theory) will be used in a magazine, it must have the appropriate aspect ratio -- something along the lines of 8x11. I'm not dictating an exact size (magazines vary), but it certainly shouldn't be square and it shouldn't be wider than it is tall. Have fun! Let's see how professional your ads can look!
Excellent stuff! Though I'm a bit nervous about the magazine ad one, since I'm not really very good with photoshop and the like. Oh well, I suppose I can find a nice font and type it...

The sunset picture is terrific! Will you reveal where and in which direction you took it? I'm curious.

Cheers, Dad

Sure. Taken from the TDC building on Borups Allé facing southwest I think.

That makes sense. Then the house outlines are probably the apartment houses on Bellahøj.
